Create Reality

Create Reality has become a bit of a personal tagline for me. The “C” and the “R” also happen to match my initials. Appropriately, Create Reality and Carissa Reiniger have become a bit synonymous.

When I think about life all I see is potential. All I want is to be able to create new things that make people better. I believe firmly that each of us has the power to create whatever reality we want. I believe firmly that life is much more about attitude than circumstance and much more about what we create than what we have or are born into or have adopted. Just because something is one way does not mean it cannot be another way- whatever way you want. Every single one of us has the power to create what we want. To start somewhere and move to another place. To build something from scratch. To realize what we want and make it happen. I come from a big small town, had severe anxiety issues growing up, was home schooled until I was 15 and had never even had a sleep over at a friend’s house before high school. Fast forward 10 years later and I had moved to Toronto, started a company and was just a few years away from moving to NYC. None of what I had was handed to me or even came easily. I created it. I worked for it. I made it happen. If I can, anyone can.

Reality has become extremely important to me. I have had to learn how to balance eternal optimism and passion driven by idealism with a firm hold on and respect for reality. Reality is what it is. It does us no good to pretend what is is not. I spent many years avoiding reality because I did not always like what it told me. I liked what I wanted life to look like a lot more than what life was. Then, something shifted. I became more and more appreciative of reality. Not because it is always good news- but because it tells me the truth. And knowing the truth is extremely powerful because it tells you where you are and usually gives you very clear insight into what you need to do to get where you are going.

As I have learn to really grasp and really love reality it has become far easier to figure out the reality that I want. And then go and create it.

I hope that everything that I stand for, everything that I do and every post I make will continue to demonstrate my personal mission to constantly create and re-create my own reality. I hope it challenges you to take the time to create your reality.

All my best!!
